i'm using 3 interface rl0: <RealTek 8139 10/100BaseTX>
rl1: <RealTek 8139 10/100BaseTX>
vr0: <VIA VT6102 Rhine II 10/100BaseTX>
for altq config i still try to learn from the manual and sample
i belive i made alot of mistake in my altq config because every time i run
/usr/src/altq-3.1/altqd -d -f altq.test i got msg that my class is to slow
in this config i my goal is to limit ip 64.62.214.9 and all network under
that ip with 256 Kbps
# cbq configuration for rl0 (256Kbps ether)
# give at least 40% to TCP
# limit HTTP from network 202.162.214.9 up to 10%
# other traffic goes into default class
interface rl0 bandwidth 256Kbps cbq
class cbq rl0 root_class NULL pbandwidth 100
class cbq rl0 def_class root_class borrow pbandwidth 95 default
class cbq rl0 tcp_class def_class borrow pbandwidth 40# cbq configuration
for rl0 (256Kbps ether)
# give at least 40% to TCP
# limit HTTP from network 64.62.214.9 up to 10%
# other traffic goes into default class
interface rl0 bandwidth 256Kbps cbq
class cbq rl0 root_class NULL pbandwidth 100
class cbq rl0 def_class root_class borrow pbandwidth 95 default
class cbq rl0 tcp_class def_class borrow pbandwidth 40
filter rl0 tcp_class 0 0 0 0 6
class cbq rl0 csl_class tcp_class pbandwidth 100
filter rl0 csl_class 0 0 64.62.214.9 netmask 0xfffffff8 80 6
filter rl0 csl_class 64.62.214.9 netmask 0xfffffff8 0 0 80 6
filter rl0 tcp_class 0 0 0 0 6
class cbq rl0 csl_class tcp_class pbandwidth 100
filter rl0 csl_class 0 0 64.62.214.9 netmask 0xfffffff8 80 6
filter rl0 csl_class 64.62.214.9 netmask 0xfffffff8 0 0 80 6
and this is my dmesg
